The Wanderer Book 1

This is my first diary of life on the streets.
It is written starting in 2011, a year after I was made homeless.

This first book is very emotional as it was the start of me coming out of the silence and darkness and writing my way back to life by sharing my story and my life on the streets.
It also contains accounts of my life on the streets of London previous to the start of the blog.

The following wanderer books will simply be a daily account of life on the streets as it happened, between 2011 and 2013, but this first book is emotional, be warned.

Coming Home

This was my first published book.
This is the story about how I ended my long-term homelessness and came off the streets.
I tell of how I moved into a lodging house and alone began the journey of rebuilding my life.

The story is an adventure, rebuilding everything, from missing bank accounts and driving licence, to regaining my career and car and health.

There are many challenges and setbacks along the way, and a few tragedies too.

The Silent World

This book is the true story of a remarkable childhood.

The story tells of a kind of travelling cult upbringing, with neglect, abuse, violence and brainwashing.

The story is set in the UK in the 1980s and 90s.

The book is a patchwork of sadness and unpredictability and unusual situations.

Goodnight Anna

This was my third book. This is some of my story of life on the streets. Told in the third person, through Anna's eyes, this book aims to educate on the diversity and way of life of rough sleepers. It was a pleasure to write this book, originally as a series of short stories for a friend, who was enthusiastic about my writing.
I then turned the stories into a manuscript.

Goodnight Anna is a rough, tough and horribly honest story, it tells of tragedy, humour, comradeship and violence on the streets as Anna, the female rough sleeper, journeys round the country, trying to keep ahead of her abusers. The story tells of the wonderful and diverse characters that she meets along the way.

Goodnight Anna is based entirely on my experiences as a long term rough sleeper.

Goodnight Anna is available on Amazon and Lulu, but is currently not available in e-book form due to formatting issues. I hope to rectify this in the future.
